3/19/2021 0 Comments Friday, March 19, 20212 Stars & A Wish: 1. The Art lesson touched on days of the week lesson, virtual field trip, Spring and non-standard units/ measurement unit. 2. Lessons were hands-on, interactive and engaging 3. I wish I had showed the students the slide about "think" and "actual" length. I want to work on asking the students if they have any questions before I send them off to independently work instead of saying, "Does this make sense Grade Two's?"
3/18/2021 0 Comments Thursday, March 18th, 20212 Stars & A Wish: 1. Very interactive and engaging lesson for students (even during Covid-19 times) 2. Poem at the beginning tied in for interdisciplinary 3. I wish I explained the sheets they were going to measure in more detail. This activity did work during Covid times, but would be more fun without hand sanitizing between and sanitizing desks. This lesson needs longer than 45 mins to get through. Fun lesson overall :)

There was plenty of material for the students to work on and engage with 3. I wish I used a visual aid on my ELA lesson for the students who may not be able to read the sentences. The predicting lesson worked out well and tied in with my math unit nicely.

This helped with time-management and classroom management 3. I wish I had explained both activities for the math lesson all at the beginning because students finished faster than I thought. Next time, have students keep their "Personal Unit Bags"

This lesson should be taught in steps Next time I want to S L O W down my instructions for this lesson. This lesson is one that should be taught in steps. Students need to visually see how the "spinner" works so use the data projector to display how it works next time.
